Site Assembly

Temple Bar Management was involved in sourcing a site for the first IKEA store in Dublin, Ireland. Apart from identifying a suitable site, this work involved a period of intense lobbying to obtain a change in the republic’s stringent planning regulations which prohibited the construction of a store of more than 6,000 sq m, far less than the 30,000 sq m required to satisfy the requirements of IKEA. The store is due to open in late July 2009.
